Steve Reichert, PE

Engineer | Owner

Steve Reichert is a licensed professional engineer and University of Idaho graduate with over 20 years of leadership experience and a strong background in land development, civil engineering, and land use regulation. He brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to every project, helping clients navigate complex technical and regulatory challenges with clarity and confidence.

Before entering private practice, Steve served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman and Logistics Officer, where he led complex operations and infrastructure planning efforts through multiple deployments in demanding environments. His experience includes facilities administration and maintenance, transportation and supply chain logistics, inspection program management, base camp planning and design, and physical site security at U.S. embassies. His project work spans domestic training operations as well as deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and U.S. diplomatic missions across North and West Africa.

Following his military service, Steve transitioned into the civil engineering and land development world, earning his professional license and working as a Staff Engineer and Project Manager at local engineering consulting firms as well as gaining valuable public-sector experience working with the City of Missoula, where he served as an Engineering Permit Technician and Development Review Engineer. In these roles, he reviewed development plans for compliance with local regulations, evaluated requirements for streets, utilities, stormwater systems, and site accessibility, conducted site inspections, and worked directly with applicants to guide projects through the development review process.

Steve’s combined military and civilian experience in engineering, construction, logistics, and public-sector review allows him to approach land use projects holistically—balancing technical performance, regulatory compliance, and practical implementation to deliver efficient development outcomes.
